We’re delighted to be working with Amsterdam’s Dotan for the first time!

After having played over a hundred living room shows to conquer his stage fright, Dotan finally released his debut album 7 Layers in 2014. The album instantly connected with audiences and within a year the Dutch singer-songwriter took the multi-award winning album from living rooms, to international festivals, to his sold out, headline, stadium show in Amsterdam. His songs Home and Hungry were instant hits. A unique vocal, heartfelt lyrics and dynamic musicianship resonated with listeners and no matter the scale, his shows provided an experience, mixing big drums and anthemic numbers with more intimate and acoustic moments.

His music was featured in many popular US television shows and the legendary Ben Folds invited him to tour throughout North America in 2016. As the roller-coaster ride slowed, and in response, Dotan decided to go back to his own living room and record new music. The song Bones is the first result of a stripped-bare approach going back to his singer-songwriter core. This tour adopts the same approach. No big band, no drums, no stadiums. Just Dotan and his guitar. New cities, venues, audiences and new stories.

Support comes from Toby Johnson. Toby launched his musical career at the age of 18 in 2015. After writing for over three years, he decided to record the work he had produced. Toby released his first ever song, titled Fox. This received immediate airplay from BBC Introducing and was followed by three more songs, released together as an EP. Toby has since released a second EP titled Shapes in Shadows and signed with the Instrumental label.
