PLEASE NOTE: We have been able to release some production holds for this show – you can find them on Seetickets.com, Dice.fm and Ticketweb.co.uk.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE: We are asking everyone where possible to make use of public transport, car sharing or taxi services to get to the Strines Nightingale as parking is very, very limited there. Please note trains are not currently running to Strines station – the closest stations in use are Marple, Disley or New Mills Newtown (all a 30- to 60-minute walk away), and there is a rail replacement bus from Marple and New Mills – plus the 358 bus between Stockport and Hayfield is operating as usual and stops right outside the Nightingale’s door. For those who are driving, there is overflow parking at Strines train station – a 15-minute walk away.

We’re excited to welcoming Beans on Toast to the Strines Nightingale for an intimate outdoor show!

In the middle of a packed-out festival season, the celebrated people’s champion of the modern folk scene, Beans on Toast, stops off near Stockport to play an extremely intimate show on the recently unveiled Woodland Stage outside the ever popular spot, The Strines Nightingale.

Beans will be supported by the fantastic, and quickly emerging, King Killership.

With only 100 tickets on sale, this one-off show will be sold out before you know it.

The Strines Nightingale is a lovely country pub, formerly called the Sportsman, which re-opened in autumn 2022. Strines is on the Piccadilly-Sheffield train line, and on the 358 bus route from Stockport to Hayfield. This show will run until 10pm at the latest.

Please note, in the case of bad weather, the show will be moved inside the venue.
