When: 7.30pm on Thursday 18 June 2009
Where: Mint Lounge, 46 Oldham Street, Manchester M4 1LE
Acoustic Ladyland have been a fantastic force for change on the British jazz scene, not least because they don’t play anything recognisably jazzy. The band, who formed through their ‘mutual distaste for jazz sterility and respect for Jimi Hendrix’, have gone from strength to strength with their most recent albums Last Chance Disco and Skinny Grin receiving critical acclaim and public success.
Local support from the Chris Illingworth Trio and Gnod.
This very exciting evening will be a co-promotion with the Freedom Principle.
Tickets from WeGotTickets.com, Ticketline.co.uk, SeeTickets.com, Piccadilly Records and Mint Lounge on Oldham Street, Zavvi in the Arndale Centre, Ticketline Box Office in St John’s Centre, Liverpool, and on 0161 832 1111.
