We’re delighted to be welcoming back Ezra Furman, for a special intimate show at the Castle!

Ezra-Furman-Castle-Manchester

Following the success of the single Restless Year, Ezra Furman has announced details of his new album, Perpetual Motion People, which will be released 6 July on Bella Union. The album delivers a cascade of memorably bristling hooks driven by a unique splicing of timeless influences with a restless urgency and combative spirit that shines through the American’s vocals and lyrics.

Having taken his time to work his way into the public consciousness, Furman’s moment is unquestionably now, as he finally faces an expectant audience hungry for the next stage of his thrilling approach, on record and on stage. Ezra’s next album is preceded by new single Lousy Connection.

In other news, some lucky Ezra fans won’t have to wait until the Autumn to see him live as he’s just announced three intimate UK shows next month, as well as festival appearances at Cloudspotting, Port Eliot and Standon Calling.

Opening the show are Manchester trio Hot Shorts, who released their debut EP, Web Design, last year.

PLEASE NOTE: This show has sold out! For announcements of future Ezra Furman dates, join our mailing list at the top of the page, and follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
