We’re delighted to be helping One Little Atlas launch their new album – with this free entry show at the Carlton Club!

One Little Atlas are a duo composed of Dean Jones and Kevan Hardman. Formed in Manchester 2013, their music is characterised by atmospheric soundscapes, ethereal vocals, reflective guitar melodies and lush hypnotic synths – always driven by intricate percussion and expansive arrangements.

Starting back in 2013 with a self-titled album, they have since released an EP, several singles and have also composed a number of film scores including re-scores of the films Koyaanisqatsi and Baraka.

Their original works have also seen them play at RNCM, John Rylands Library and Whitworth Art Gallery, performing soundtracks and commissions in live spaces. 2019 saw them perform for new audiences at Manchester International Festival and Bluedot festival, as well as support slots around the north west.

The band have since gone into hibernation crafting their new album. They resurfaced in January 2022 to work on a new multimedia theatre project with director Tom Newton titled Mirror Me, plus a new single, Devotion. The new theatre project will see the band working with a large cast of dancers, actors and visual artist’s live onstage and will tour August 2024.

The duo are set to release a new full length album Wayfarer on 10 November, which is their most ambitious musical work to date. The album has been made in collaboration with many guest musicians such as folk artist Helena Francesa, Staffordshire-based flute wizard Rosie Brownhill, violin player Heather MacLeod (Halle Orchestra/Untold Orchestra), London-based Tim Davies (Marble Sun/Up North Orchestra).
